Dr. Kathryn Bowman is the First Lady of Antioch COGIC in Buffalo, New York where her husband, Bishop Dr. James

Bowman, Sr. is the Senior Pastor.

      Lady Kathy travels extensively through Kathy Bowman Ministries, conducting Empowerment Clinics featuring workshops focused on the spiritual maturation of Christian women whose goal is to encourage and empower women to move from mediocrity to maximization in fulfilling God's purpose for their lives. She founded and directs “Daughters of Hannah” a mentoring ministry dedicated to teaching participants the value of a faithful prayer life and holy living, in order to birth God-given promises. She is creator of the very powerful “Situation Box” a ministry aid used at many workshops, conferences and prayer groups. Through the Situation Box, real life situations are confronted and redirected through scripture, godly wisdom and prophetic

utterances.

    Lady Kathy is Director of Family Enrichment Ministries and Women's Ministries at Antioch COGIC. In addition to these duties, she takes pleasure in using her talent as a gifted singer and songwriter and as a Minister of Music. She has been privileged to record with renowned gospel recording artists such as Andrea Crouch, and has appeared in concerts with Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kirk Franklin, Kurt Karr, and other gospel-recording artists. She and her husband, along with the Antioch Holiness Sanctuary Choir, have recorded an album entitled, "Please Stay", featuring gospel artist, Ms. Dorinda Clark-Cole and songs she has written. “The Worship Experience”, a new CD to be released soon, features Grammy award winner, producer and songwriter, Aaron Lindsey. This dynamic CD was recorded live at The Tabernacle in Orchard Park, New York where Pastor Tommy Reid is the Senior Pastor. Music Artist, Kevin Camp (Campground Entertainment) and James Bowman Jr. ( First Family Entertainment) are also featured producers and music arrangers. From 2011 to present, Lady Kathy chairs the Buffalo Western New York National Day of Prayer Task Force Team. A National event celebrated annually in the Western New York region, with the gathering of various churches, Pastors, Community Leaders & Christians praying blessings for God's people and the Nation. She is presently a Board member of FLOW, ( First Ladies of WNY) and Witness Project Program, which promotes Cancer Awareness. 

    As a gifted teacher, with a background in dramatics and theater, Pastor Kathy delivers the good message with much grace and wisdom, filled with practical applications, frankness and humor. She has ministered for Marian Meares' women's conferences and has been on conference platforms with well-known international speakers including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Bishop Kenneth Moles, Evangelists Jackie McCullough, Juanita Bynum and others. In 2013 she was also blessed to play the leading role in the Movie "Thy Will Be Done" which went International, and aired on all major cable television networks.

    Dr. Kathy Bowman was educated at State University of New York at Buffalo and is the former Director of the American Cancer Society Inner City Branch in Buffalo. In 2010 she received her Doctorate In Ministry from National School of Theology. Dr. Kathy and her husband reside in East Amherst, New York and are the proud parents of four grown children, two of which are active in the ministry, and eleven grandchildren.
